Community Centres are the hub of local community activity, they are the place that harness community engagement and strengthen community spirit.
Community Centres are the future of strong communities for the 21st Century.
This conference aims to celebrate the work of our local community centres and inspire vision for the future.
It will explore the importance of strong leadership in times of austerity, discuss how centres redress disadvantage and loneliness and explore enterprise models for a sustainable future.
The day will also offer a chance to hear speakers from the Development TA and other Community Centres leaders on successful models of enterprise and asset development.
The event is open to all including community centre managers, workers, volunteers and users.

We are offering a £50 voucher for a manager/ leader towards attending one or more of the courses in the Directory of Social Change's Management Fair programme on 17th February if you bring along 10 delegates on the 29th January!
